Apologies once again for the website being off line for
the past few days.
No excuses - the Domain Name i.e. Buccsociety.com was not
renewed, hosting on 34SP server was but not Domain Name
hence your computer no doubt came up with the error message
-Site not found or similar.
34SP Tech Support were very good and it was a Sunday when
I found the problem and they quickly identified the "glitch",
a quick phone call to Nigel G on Sunday, plastic was used
and lo, we are back in business.
So if ever you look after a website, ensure that in addition
to the Hosting Invoice being paid, the Domain Invoice is
paid as well.
To give you an idea of how much this site costs to host
on 34SP servers, here are the details:

this link.
The following information is from 34SP Knowledge Base on
Domain names:
'If your domain name has expired and 30 days have passed,
it may fall into the 'redemption period' state.
If this occurs, the domain will be held for a total of
90 days. The domain name can be removed from this state
for a fee of roughly £120 to £140. This fee
includes a mandatory payment fee to the domain registry
of approximately £116 and a two year renewal of the
domain name with 34SP.com.
The registry fee is mandatory and is not set by 34SP.com.
This fee is out of our hands and is non-negotiable.
If you choose to wait until this period passes, the domain
will enter a state known as 'pending delete' after 90 days
where it will be unrenewable for 5 more days. It will finally
return to the public domain where it can be purchased as
new.
You should be cautious however, in allowing your domain
to return back to the public domain. A number of companies
operate domain monitoring services. These systems are used
to register domain names the very second a domain is released
back into the public domain. It is then common to find the
new owners charging inflated prices for the resale of the
domains.'
