Update from Nigel G on XX889 and Kemble Air Day.

'Having a very limited amount of time to organise for this years show, the BBS managed show off XX889 with some success.

The Cockpit of the aircraft was open for around 4 hours and there was a constant stream of visitors, until my partner, Jacqui, had an accident with a chair and had to be rushed to Hospital, this curtailed any further cockpit tours and the decision was taken to shut the stall.

The public were suitably impressed with the aircraft and some had even mentioned that they had been following our progress from the Forum and this Website.

We have also made contact with one, possibly two new volunteers, which I will be following up in the near future.

I would like to thank the following people who helped display 889 and run the stall.

Jacqui is OK although a tad sore !!
